Impact

Like a Phoenix Rising, this character-driven film aims to increase awareness of the role of youth and  women in promoting democracy and human rights, inspire a sense of hope and resilience in the face of adversity.

The impact strategy seeks to empower young women to take an active role in their communities, and encourage action and engagement on issues related to democracy, women’s rights, and ending domestic violence against women. Through education and awareness, advocacy, empowerment, cultural exchange, and a targeted impact campaign, the film seeks to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young women in Iraq and around the world, and contribute to positive social change.

We partner with organizations that share our goals and values to promote the film and its message, and encourage audiences to take action on issues related to democracy, women’s rights, and ending domestic violence against women. Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of young women in Iraq and around the world.

We seek partnerships with women’s rights organizations, democracy and human rights organizations, educational institutions, cultural exchange programs, film festivals and screening venues, grassroots organizations and community groups, and organizations working to end domestic violence against women, to promote the film and its message. The key is to identify organizations and groups that share the same goals and values and who can help amplify the film’s message and reach a wider audience.
